Troinex

Troinex

South of Veyrier lies the peaceful and green municipality of Troinex.

Formerly an agricultural village until the last century, nearly 75% of the area is either agricultural or forest, offering a natural and quiet environment much appreciated by locals. Increasingly residential since the last 50 years, Troinex is home to only 2,500 inhabitants in 2019 and is one of the municipalities with the lowest population density.

Troinex has a lot to offer for a peaceful quality of life. In the village centre one can find several parks, children's playgrounds, a Tennis Club, some small shops as well as the Drize river which flows through the area.
