Vandoeuvres

Vandoeuvres

Bordering on Cologny, Vandoeuvres is a small and peaceful suburban municipality, made up of three main neighbourhoods: Chougny, Crête and Pressy. Mainly residential, Vandoeuvres has a tradition where there should be one oak tree per inhabitant - today reaching a little over 2,500 people (and oak trees!).

Despite the Geneva Golf Club belonging to the Cologny zip code, it is entirely located in the municipality of Vandoeuvres. Vandoeuvres is also home to the Hardt Foundation which has a respected library of almost 40,000 volumes specializing in Greek and Latin history and which welcomes scholars from all over the world.

Vandoeuvres has a lot of greenery to offer with its pastures and few vineyards. Due to this large space, 88% of homes are standalone houses.
